a great example of what a strong woman looks like to my two lovely daughters. My immediate circle of Chicago friends all work together in unison to raise our kids, entertain each other and lift each other up when needed.
All of my family and friends are special and bring several individual great things to this crazy world of ours. I consider myself honored to be in their presence. I often tell people when they ask how I am doing that I am doing great because I surround myself with greatness.
Every once in a while, the Cars or the Eurythmics come on the radio, it takes me back to the days when I almost gave up. If I had given up, I would not have had the opportunity to give my little piece to the world. I am forever thankful the Lord gave me that second chance and I try not to let him down.
Life to me is like a track meet, and obstacles you face are the hurdles. When you come to the hurdle you have two choices; jump over it and continue or walk around it and lose the race. If you can muster up the strength to focus and jump over the hurdles eventually you will not only finish the race you will win it!!!
