I’ve watched the full series—seven seasons—three or four times since it ended. But I’ve never been as emotional as I am now. Sometimes I catch my breath at a line of dialogue and rewind 10 seconds just to hear it again. Sometimes I want to cry at the mere mention of the Rose Garden. The East Wing. The Capitol Police. The Constitution.

I know suits are uncomfortable. I know fashion evolves. Trends come and go, as they should.

But I also know that some things—decorum, respect for institutions, reverence for education, a belief in the rule of law—should never go out of style.

History, like fashion, repeats itself.

And when it does, when this particular era finally loosens its grip, I like to imagine we’ll mark the moment not just with relief, but with intention. We’ll put on our good clothes.

We’ll gather together. We’ll celebrate, yes, but we’ll also begin again.

More thoughtful this time.

More careful.

More aware of what’s worth preserving.

Because some things should never go out of style.
