Distinctive articles of clothing, jewelry, and makeup have often come together to form iconic collections of outfits, recognized for the entirety of a decade or even longer. However, this sense of timeless, curated attire does not appear to translate seamlessly into Gen-Z’s culture. When considering Gen-Z fashion, images of sweatpants, Uggs, Lululemon, and slicked-back hairstyles often arise. Yet, attempting to define a fashion identity that encompasses the entire Gen-Z community proves to be an almost impossible endeavor, even for its members.
