SNEAK PEAK INTO ELITE LUXURY AT DEOS MYKONOS
The Newest from the Myconian Collection
Reaching the ultimate pinnacle of elite hospitality in Mykonos is the Myconian Collection’s DEOS which opened last season. The word ‘deos’ in ancient Greek means a sense of awe or wonder, and DEOS Mykonos does just that. DEOS provides an extraordinary escape on the magical island of Mykonos. It is elevated above the town of
Mykonos on a perfect perch,
presenting a magnificent
panoramic view from sunrise to
sunset while still being within walking distance to the action below. The contemporary custom designed calm-colored minimalistic suites are one-of-kind, the spa spectacular, pool providing panorama perfection and gastronomy going beyond the stratosphere.
FLM contributor Hope Gainer got a sneak peek at the property, before sitting down to dine at DEOS’ Epico. The Epico culinary experience created by Executive Chef Ilias Maslaris and Chef de Cuisine Kristalia Vousmaki treats guests to a symphony of flavors encapsulating the essence of Mykonos. These two master chefs bring artistry and passion to every dish. Chef Maslaris selects the finest farm-to-table ingredients for his masterpieces
while Chef Vousmaki brings the freshest catches from the sea. Epico offers both a degustation and ala carte menu. Hope’s meal started with an amuse-bouche du jour compliments of the chef followed by an appetizer of smoked octopus with red
peppers and a traditional Greek salad onto the main courses of lobster orzotto with pear barley orzo in a basil lobster and veal cheeks with chilopitaki pasta, beurre noisette and feta cheese, finishing with a peach mousse made with peach compote and foam plus apricot sorbet as well as a pistachio tarte filled with pistachio mousseline and praline pistachio topped with raspberry sorbet.
Stay tuned for her next visit to DEOS when she opens the door to her decadent suite.
