Describe your role as a brand ambassador for Lululemon and the FURTHER challenge you just completed.
I join Lululemon’s ambassador bench in 2020 and have had the pleasure, privilege, and honor to be supported in bringing to life my community initiatives, be in collaboration providing product development insights, and be part of several major brand moments; including, one of a six woman team to run 340 miles from LA to Vegas in The Speed Project, launch their first running shoe Blissfeel, be the global face for Lululemon’s first strength training shoe campaign Strongfeel, and as of March 6, 2024 one of ten women to take on the Lululemon FURTHER feat - a first-of-its-kind six-day ultramarathon celebrating human possibility and demonstrating how far women can go when they’re supported with resources and product innovations typically reserved for men.
In the 144-hour feat, I ran 234.32 miles (377 km). Prior to FURTHER, I had only just run my first marathon in April 2023 (London Marathon) and added two more marathons on my resume in September 2023 as a St. Jude Children’s Hospital Hero (Berlin Marathon) and November 2023 (New York City Marathon).
