here are those

types of people

that command

the room when they walk in. Whether it’s their appearance, confidence, or personality, some people just have a presence about themselves that others can’t help but notice. Kayla Jeter is her.

Besides possessing the three B’s, BEAUTY, an incredible BODY, and BRILLIANCE, Kayla is humble about her accomplishments. She has certainly been blessed with the athletic gene that helped her earn a full athletic scholarship to play Volleyball at the University of Tennessee and earned a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology, with a focus in Motor Behavior and Sport Psychology. Both her father and uncle played professional football in the NFL and her older sister also played volleyball.

She grew up in a small town outside of Cleveland, Ohio and after college played professionally overseas before coming back to the states to coach at the University of Cincinnati. She landed in Chicago not too long ago and like many other transplants has truly embraced the city.

Kayla is an influential figure in the world of wellness and athletics, particularly within the Chicago community. As a lululemon ambassador, community consultant, and wellness coach, she's dedicated to helping her clients adopt sustainable healthier lifestyles.

With a background as a

trained behavior change

coach and certified

functional strength

coach, she brings a

wealth of expertise

to her work.

Her impact extends beyond in-

person interactions, as she has

effectively utilized digital platforms like Instagram,

TikTok, and Pinterest to

reach and connect with

over 130,000 followers. Through her digital content,Kayla

serves as a coach,

connector, and

validator of

shared human

experiences,

fostering a sense

of community

and empower-

ment among her

audience.

I was ecstatic to

learn more

about Kayla's

mission to

disrupt and

diversify homog-

enous spaces in

sports and the

wellness industry,

her commitment

to expanding

possibilities for

BIPOC (Black,

Indigenous, and

People of Color)

runners, her annual 100MilesofSummer

challenge, and of

course her sense of

fashion and style. It

is my pleasure to

highlight Kayla and

to share her story.
