For more than 20 years, Arturo Gomez has been a standout in the hospitality and entertainment industry. A renowned Chicago business leader with extensive professional experience, Arturo’s strengths lie in establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving large-scale organizational structures that drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a range of industries.
Throughout his tenure, Arturo has proven himself as an innovative and entrepreneurial problem solver with a record of stewarding business plans from concept to reality, ultimately creating and strengthening valuable revenue streams. Born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, Arturo attended the University of Michigan where he majored in Biology and Latin American studies. In 2002, Arturo teamed up with partners, to create Rockit Ranch Productions, a Chicago-based restaurant and nightlife development, and management company. During his tenure, Arturo was integral in the creation and opening of more than 10 restaurants and nightlife venues in Chicago and South Florida – most notably Sunda, Rockit Bar & Grill, and Underground.
In 2017, Arturo identified an opportunity to leverage his hospitality expertise and understanding of white-glove service to found and launch luxury travel companies, Big Game Air and Triumph Jets. In its first year, Big Game Air was selected as a “50 On Fire Lifestyle Award Winner” by Chicago Innovation and in 2018, Arturo was named “Entrepreneur of The Year” by the Chicago Latino Network.
In tandem with his role as CEO for both Triumph Jets and Big Game Air led him to create Evoke, marketing, hospitality, and lifestyle management company. Arturo’s work through Evoke led him to team up with another fellow Chicago entrepreneur to create a new hospitality concept, Edie’s All Day Café & Bar (Edie’s), which is largely inspired by Arturo’s daughter, Edie. Arturo was instrumental in bringing all aspects of the concept to life, leading Edie’s to become a local favorite.
