our beautiful
baby boy
into the world on March 4 th (talk about intense timing).
The Covid19 pandemic is having an effect on the world: families fighting for their lives or the lives of loved ones,
health care professionals risking everything on the front-line, and economic uncertainty plaguing us all. During this time of
uncertainty, our precious son is helping us focus on what is most important in life and I sincerely hope you have all been able to step away to find comfort in the love that is being shared globally as we all go through this experience together.
We will always remember the very first
month of our son’s life was the exact time that the world changed forever as we all faced this moment in time together. We’ve found solitude in focusing on loved ones and being creative with the way that family and friends get to meet our little guy for the first time through fences at a distance or social media chat forums. We have been able to take a step back and really fill our days with cuddles. We keep joking that it feels like the entire world went on parental leave
with us so that we didn’t feel like we were missing out on anything.
Staying connected through virtual chats has become everyone’s favorite way to pass the time and I see it sticking around even after we’re through this global pandemic. Friends and family across the globe keep saying “Why did it take a pandemic for us to do this!?” Plan on this new rage becoming the new normal for years to come!
