Buyers and sellers are much more serious, and inventory is still selling very quickly when the properties are priced right. There is less Inventory on the market which helps sellers with supply and demand and buyers are taking advantage of these incredibly low interest rates knowing that they are working with real sellers and not the ones that just want to test the market. We may be seeing less activity with showings, but there are more offers. We’re even seeing many multiple offer situations when properties are priced well.

We have now gone from doing in-person showings to figuring out ways of showing properties virtually and getting very creative with FaceTime, Zoom, and other forms of virtual showings. We walk buyers through the property while holding the phone or computer and allow them to control the walk through so they can feel like they are walking the property themselves. And it's working! We are also accepting contingency offers where buyers put in an offer prior to seeing the property. Once a deal is solidified, we then work out a time to get them in on their own to see the home in person. This works well with occupied homes and especially with sellers whose health may be compromised a bit and don't want anyone in their home.
