he fashion industry has gone to the dogs and that’s something to howl about! We’ve all seen dogs wearing sweaters, raincoats, Duggs (doggie Uggs), parkas, bows, ties, and even Halloween costumes, some of us shaking our heads at this trend, while others of us embracing it (and contributing to it). In a recent article from Entrepreneur Magazine, dog owners spend an average of about $1600 per year on their best buddy, with only 1/3 of that spent on vet care. With more than an estimated 60 billion dogs, that’s a huge chunk of change to be spent on toys, grooming, walking, and accessories of all kinds.
