Style … some people have it and some people don’t. Or so we’re brainwashed to believe. Over the years, I’ve felt fashionable; only to learn I was the only one who thought so. It seems my love of vivid colors in 9th grade did not go unnoticed, but garnered me the secret nickname of “skittles”. Then recently, I fell into an office fashion slump, only to be stopped by someone in the hall complimenting me on how great my clothes always looked; that I looked so put together.
So, like all things in life, beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, but it’s your inner eye that matters most. I don’t know about you, but I am dying for Amy Schumer’s new movie, “I Feel Pretty” to come out. A simple bump on the head causes her to see herself as drop, dead gorgeous and she owns it. The moral of the oh so common self love story is how you feel on the inside affects how you look and feel on the outside.
