THIS SUMMER AT THE ARTS STATION
Adapting to current protocols , the Arts Station has implemented safe visiting practices to keep all guests and staff safe . All workshops must be booked in advance . The following programs are planned for the upcoming months :
Club Cre8 is a weekly arts camp for kids aged K – G6 . Every Monday from June 28th 10 : am – 3:30pm . Full and Half Day options available .
Shine Theatre Camp for ages 7-12 . July 6-8th 2021 9am-4pm . Shine the summer with Rachel and Sadie ! Activities include singing , performance , dance , writing , improv , and filmmaking !
Youth Art Camps . See website for details of camps for ages 11-15 , including Teen Theatre , Youth Art Collective , Street Art and Pottery .
Art for Adults includes Plein Air Pod on Tuesdays from 2-4pm starting June 1st . This self-guided event encourages artists to meet , collaborate and learn new things from other creatives . Art on the Deck is offered on Thursdays from 1-3pm or 7-9pm from June 3rd . Different mediums will be explored with demos and facilitation led by experts . Self-led Pottery sessions on the last Saturday of the Month includes the support of a pottery supervisor . See website or contact The Arts Station for details and to participate .
Out of the Box Dumpster Project . July 23rd – 25th in Station Square . Around a dozen artists will gather to paint colourful new dumpsters to be placed around town . Enjoy music and art and meet the artists at work .
