Fernie ’ s Historic Downtown is packed with outdoor patios , including the newly designated Station Square on 1st Ave where you can enjoy take-out and an ever-expanding range of public art installations . More fantastic patios can be found along 7th Avenue and at locations around Fernie .
One of the valley ’ s nicest patios is tucked away in the trees at Sparwood Golf Course . This popular spot offers food and beverage service 7 days a week through the summer and has patio heaters for cooler days . Include a leisurely round of golf or take a stroll on the new Lunch Loop trail when you visit .
While celebrations continue to look a little different , they will continue where possible . Elkford celebrates 50 years in 2021 as the newest of the Elk Valley ’ s municipalities .
