COMING UP AT THE LIBRARY Spring is in full swing when the library staff take to the streets on two wheels for the annual Ride with Librarians May 31. Everyone is welcome to join in on this fun, friendly, casual bike ride around town followed by a social picnic potluck. Either way, the Lemonade Social on June 13 is for you! Register to compete or just show up to sample and vote. The top title is fiercely contested. On June 21, the Fernie Heritage Library invites the community and visitors to share in a special Aboriginal Day Celebration. Celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding achievements of the nation’s Aboriginal peoples at a day of community, sharing and learning.
