Featuring the best roots music from across Canada in a series of‘ house concert’ style events. The series kicked off in September with mid-western duo Big Little Lions and continued through the fall with east-coast performers. Quebec’ s Sarah Jane Scouten features on February 9th and Vince Andrushko from Manitoba on March 10th. The series ends with BC’ s Murfitt and Main on April 15th. Tickets are $ 20.

A celebration of the rich diversity and creativity of the Canadian Film Industry, RCFF is a 3-day gala presentation of the year’ s top features and shorts with two receptions. The anniversary festival opens with the acclaimed Public Schooled, the latest hilarious collaboration between Director Kyle Rideout, writer Josh Epstein, and Fernie-based costume designer, Flo Barrett. The festival continues with an eclectic selection of films, a young film-makers competition, and chances to chat with the people who make these works of art.
