Ancestral guidance is ever-present in ʔakanuxunik’ life. The teachings of Elders and Ancestors is woven into language, ceremony, and everyday practice. The wisdom of the past shapes the decisions of today, carrying forward respect for tradition and an unwavering commitment to stewardship. ʔakanuxunik’ are reclaiming their selfdetermination, reviving language and ceremony, and working with unity to ensure their sacred values are never lost.
