THIS SPRING & SUMMER AT THE ARTS STATION
The Arts Station offers a packed program of entertainment, exhibits, workshops and presentations throughout the year. See calendars for details of activities, drop-in sessions and visiting musicians.
COMING UP THIS SEASON:
The recently expanded and renovated Pottery Studio is a hub of activity at the station. Activities include skill building workshops, Wine & Wheel social evenings, Meet the Wheel introductory sessions, Sculpture workshops and multiday intensives.
Station Square comes alive in the summer months with colour, sound, and activity. In July and August, the very popular Wednesday Socials outdoor concerts feature live music, beverage gardens, food trucks and activities for kids.
New this season, the Arts Station takes art to the outdoors with Art in the Park, a weekly evening art session for ages 16 + in Annex Park in July and August from 6pm. Plein Air Mondays for the summer, and Art on the Deck is offered on Thursdays from July 3rd to August 14th at 4pm.
Camps and workshops are offered throughout the summer, including Club Cre8 Summer Mondays for ages 5-10; Shine Theatre Camps for ages 7-12; Sewing Camps and Sculpture Camps for a variety of ages.
IN THE GALLERY
Discover local art at regular shows in the foyer gallery. Opening night includes a social event with cash bar and complimentary nibbles, and a chance to meet the artists. Exhibits are on display throughout the following month.

June 26: One Small Acre, featuring Laura Nelson, Michael Hepher, Kari Lehr, Donna Bilyk and Karen Tamminga-Paton.
September 4: Peggy Black – Adventures in Thread
The Arts Station facilitates a program of public art, which includes large scale murals and banners found around Fernie. For more details, pick up a copy of the Art Walk Brochure.
