MAST has been at the forefront of adventure training for over 28 years . The program is perfect for those looking to become professional guides or recreational experts , offering handson experience through a dynamic mix of experiential and applied learning , fieldwork , and theory .
With approximately 60 % of the program spent outdoors , you ’ ll dive deep into real-world learning in the unmatched outdoor classroom of the Canadian Rockies , alongside motivated peers and expert instructors . The small class sizes and personal attention mean you ’ ll never get lost in the crowd , but will forge new , meaningful connections instead .
Field courses range from rock climbing and mountaineering to ski touring , white-water kayaking , avalanche training , and bushcraft survival skills . By the end of the program , you ’ ll not only gain certifications but also the confidence and skills to excel in the adventure industry .
