The Arts Station offers a packed program of entertainment , exhibits , workshops and presentations throughout the year . See calendars for details of activities , drop-in sessions and visiting musicians .
COMING UP THIS SEASON :
Monthly events include Life Drawing , an opportunity to study the human form with a nude model . Cleansing Art Sessions are an expressive art experience led by the Elk Valley Suicide Task Force . Laugh , connect and let your imagination guide you in mark making . Not a therapy session , these gatherings focus on building connections and offering a welcoming space . Registration is required as spaces are limited . Each month features a theme , see calendar for details . Weekend Workshops explore a range of subjects including textiles , surface design and more .
Regular screenings of popular operas continue in 2024 on the first Friday of each month , beginning with Puccini ’ s Tosca on January 5 . Admission by donation .
The Pottery Studio is a hub of activity at the station . Activities include skill building workshops , Wine & Wheel social evenings , Meet the Wheel introductory sessions , Sculpture workshops , multi-day intensives and exhibits .
Discover local art with a new shows in the foyer gallery . Opening night includes a social event with cash bar and complimentary nibbles , and a chance to meet the artists .
