Explore Fernie ’ s art installations , galleries and working studios on an art walk through Historic Downtown . Pick up a copy of the new Fernie Art Walk Brochure at Fernie facilities and galleries and discover incredible local and regional art including installations , murals , and showrooms packed with delightful pieces to view and purchase .
Between each location , look up to see the colourful banners of the Fernie Banner Project on light poles , featuring the work of local artists of all ages in a variety of mediums including textiles ,
painting , drawing , photography , mixed media , pottery , jewellery , and sculpture . The banners can also be found along Hwy # 3 in their second year . The Out of the Box Dumpsters are constantly being replaced and relocated , creating a new visual scavenger hunt every season . New Dumpsters are painted each summer and can be found all over Fernie .
