The Arts Station offers a packed program of entertainment , exhibits , workshops and presentations throughout the year . See calendars for details of activities , drop-in sessions and visiting musicians . Coming up this season :
Monthly events include Life Drawing , an opportunity to study the human form with a nude model . Cleansing Art Sessions are an expressive art experience led by the Elk Valley Suicide Task Force . Laugh , connect and let your imagination guide you in mark making . Not a therapy session , these gatherings focus on building connections and offering a welcoming space . Registration is required as spaces are limited . Each month features a theme , see calendar for details . Weekend Workshops explore a range of subjects including textiles , surface design and more .
Regular screenings of popular operas return this fall beginning with La Fille du Régiment by Donizetti on October 6 with further screenings on November 5 and December 1 . Admission by donation .

The Arts Station welcomes Kentucky Eileen on December 10 for a special Yuletide Holiday Show . This 4-piece folk band from Kelowna will warm hearts and minds with their own brand of Canadianinspired American folk music .
