A thoughtful depiction of a soldier bowed in sorrow above the poppies of Flanders Fields . Designed by German Canadian sculptor Emanuel Hahn , the work is a replica of the artist ’ s memorial sculpture designed for Nova Scotia to commemorate the end of WWI .
