Thought-provoking art and heritage exhibits rotate through the first floor gallery, highlighting the landscapes and life of the Elk Valley.
‘ This is Our Fernie’ is a permanent exhibit on the ground floor depicting 130 years of Fernie’ s history through fascinating historical images, artifacts and insights. Guided walking tours offered throughout the summer and fall plus regular events.

At Fernie Court House, 401 4th Ave
A thoughtful depiction of a soldier bowed in sorrow above the poppies of Flanders Fields. Designed by German Canadian sculptor Emanuel Hahn, the work is a replica of the artist’ s memorial sculpture designed for Nova Scotia to commemorate the end of WWI.
