It was important to respect the location and create
something special that the site deserved. The project
utilised KELLER minimal windows® from Luxembourg for a
perfect fit with this elegant and luxurious design. Situated
on the beach front, both natural light and spectacular
views were maximised with massive sliding doors. Despite
weighing in at over 335 kilograms per panel, the KELLER
minimal windows® Sliding Doors can be operated with
ease, and the flush thresholds create a seamless transition
from inside to outside.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS
An interesting blend of window types combined with
tinted double glazing provides a showcase for this home’s
bayside views while providing thermal efficiency. The
easy operation of the huge panels means that the elderly
owners are able to open and close them without effort.
The judges called this entry “wonderful.”
