Self-Latching Multipoint System

The Doric High Performance Self Latching Multipoint
System is the first to be designed around the
requirements of the Australian market and the world’s
first mechanical system to automatically close and
latch under damaging wind loads. The system uses
a combination of stainless steel 316 and engineered
plastics to deliver the ultimate solution for corrosion
resistance. Stainless steel rollers, polyamide connecting
bars and ergonomic Lever provide smooth, quiet and
effortless operation for the user.
Adjustable connecting points combined with Doric’s
quick fit system provide speed of assembly for the
fabricator. All adjustment points are on the jamb rather
than the opening sash, ensuring the safety of product
service teams. The product has been designed with
slimline contemporary furniture, available in brushed
SS316 and PC finishes.
The system uses specially designed Awning Stays
which release the window under high wind loads. Once
the window is released, it falls under its own weight and
is caught by the self-latching devices.
The self latching points have been built into the
multipoint system and use a specially designed dual
rotating and sliding latch function to fire and be cocked
through its function set. This ensures a familiar and
simple function for the end user.
