Bravo Offices, Perth, WA
Bravo is a five level commercial office development at Perth
Domestic Airport with a gross floor area of approximately 10,500
m2. The CW50 Facade covered approximately 4,000 square
metres.
The main entry level (upper ground floor) has provision for a
food and beverage outlet and a gymnasium over two levels.
The remainder of the building will be commercial office space
designed to accommodate a range of tenancy sizes.
Bravo’s contemporary aesthetics and material selections are
intended to reference its context and location within a modern,
efficient and busy city airport. The facade materials consisted
mainly of Alucobond cladding and Reynaers CW50 stick curtain
wall system.
It is designed to achieve a 4.5 Star Green Star rating and 5 Star
NABERS rating through a range of ESD initiatives.
• Water efficient appliances
• Passive design, including orientation and shading of
fenestration to reduce solar heat gain.
• Thermal insulation and detailing to avoid heat gain through the
building façades.
• Generous end-of-trip facilities to encourage cycling to work.
• An open stair strategically located within the core to reduce
the use of lifts for travel between floors.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS
The energy and acoustic results are impressive, as is the
appearance of the curtain wall in the completed building.
