“A stunning use of
windows and doors.”
Campbells Pocket, Mt Mee, QLD
Perched atop a picturesque part of Campbells Pocket
located approximately 70 kilometres north of Brisbane,
this residential masterpiece captures spectacular
panoramic views of the Glasshouse Mountains and
Caloundra, in the north, and Moreton Bay in the south.
At night, the lights of the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane
City illuminate the outline of the surrounding ridge line.
It is little wonder the client’s brief to the designer and
builder stipulated three key criteria:
1. The view is paramount and is to be the number one
consideration
2. The finished home is to be visually appealing from
both the inside and outside and,
3. There is to be as much uninterrupted glass as
possible.
JUDGES’ COMMENTS
The client’s requirement for as much glass as possible
throughout this home has been met with a stunning
use of windows and doors. Engineered solutions and a
variety of window types create expansive openings and
perfectly answer the brief.
