When purchased by the owners, this pre-war home was
almost unliveable. The brief stipulated that the original
character be incorporated into the Hampton design
style. This was achieved by lifting the original house
and creating an extension underneath. At the front, all
doors and windows were replaced with white Vantage
aluminium casements upstairs and French doors with
colonial bars on the new ground floor.
Upon walking through the front entry, the interior
transforms into a modern cosy home with beautiful
feature stone work framed by bespoke aluminium glazing.
