Impact of water content and dietary organic carbon richness on gut bacteria in the earthworm Lumbricus terrestris
Earthworms are fundamental subsurface invertebrates , and this study illustrates that ingested bacteria and earthworm-associated Tenericutes might be influenced by nutrient fluctuations and dietary organic carbon richness .
