PRODUCTS USED:
1. Apply an eye primer, as this
will keep your eye shadow in
place longer. Urban Decay Eye
Primer Potion is brilliant.
2. Apply a concealer to your lids
to neutralize any blue tones
(darkness around the eye lid
area).
3. Apply a concealer with your
ring finger (this is the weakest
finger and they eye area has
delicate skin around it), so be
kind to it.
4. Apply a setting powder onto
both lids so when you apply
your eye shadow it won’t grip
onto your primer, leaving it
patchy. Laura Mercier Trans-
lucent Powder is a classic.
5. Apply your neutral eye shad-
ow to the base of your lid,
pressing the product from
your brush into the skin. Use a
small size eye shadow brush.
6. Lastly take a medium size
eye shadow blending brush
(this will blend and apply the
product at the same time),
apply the darker shade from
the corner of your eye moving
it upwards gently into the eye
socket, following the natural
shape that your skin folds into.
Runway Room Cosmetics Z Palette in ‘bridesmaid’ (neutral base color) and
‘soot’ for the crease color.
If you would like to see the quick tutorial head over to my Facebook page
or YouTube channel and watch all the fun. And let me tell you ladies (still a
YouTube newbie) it was fun watching my video back and having a good ole
laugh, it’s good for the soul to not take yourself to seriously and have fun
with makeup.
