Participants
During this period , interviews were carried out with more than 40 participants , comprising 90 % actively employed individuals and 10 % retirees . Among the active participants , there was a balanced representation , with a 60 / 40 split between those associated with operating companies and Network Rail .
Additionally , 3 % of participants had international affiliations , while 7 % represented consultancies .
Method
The qualitative data collected from these interviews was meticulously analysed to identify key themes using a coding analysis strategy .
