The memories of spring are opening,
like the flowers that we love so dearly.
The memories of spring bring us clarity.
They open our eyes to a better time,
Like the joy of friends and family.
The dormant winter bliss that once inhab
Now leaves us knowing!
That we may make new memories
Before we lay dormant once again,
Knowing that we may never see
The light of day without thinking
About our springtime fondness!

As the trees begin to bloom
We know our spring is not totally doomed
As summer creeps in
We know Covid won’t win
As the pool covers come off
We know better days aren’t far-off
As the sun begins to shine bright
We know that beaches will soon be in sight
