Shine by Gabriellia Chevalier Feeling the Sunshine, Spring 2020 An EHS Student Special Feature Publication I stare up into the sky 5:17 The cold air blows over my face I can feel the cold roof tile under my back The sun struggles to rise barley just peeking out from behind the clouds No matter what is happening in the world the sun still rises and sets everyday Nothing can stop the sun The sun is like a symbol that the world still needs to continue There nothing that can replace the sun It is irreplaceable There is nothing quite like it The colors it makes The way it can change within minutes The way it lights up any part of darkness Strong confident powerful No can steal the sun’s shine Shine… Every day we get to see the sun rise and set and every day I think we take advantage of something so beautiful. And believe me especially Americans including myself take tons of things for advantage. Stop for a second and think. What would the world the look like without the sun? Dark, cold, sad. The sun is the one thing in the whole entire universe the we all share. The sun reaches every point, every person, and every Piece of land and space. If you really think about it the sun has the most control of this whole world. The sun goes down we go down. Every planet in the universe rely on the sun to rotate around. As you can see the sun is very very important and hopefully it will stay along for a while and nothing will happen to it. But next time you want to see something breathtaking just go watch the sun rise or set. It is something so simple that can make your whole day so much brighter.
