2. CONCEPT A space that is tailored for people and dogs to interact safely and hygienically, the materials and design concepts chosen must be carefully considered. It is imperative that the space is easy to wipe, mop or spot clean regularly and when immediately necessary, fabrics and upholstery should all be resistant to wear, reducing risk of tearing and marking when exposed to sharp claws and teeth this is to ensure a long lasting finish that to reduce waste and keep maintenance costs low. All materials must be non- toxic, in the case of accidental ingestion to insure no harm is inflicted. The space has to be relatively open to allow situations that could at time become quite chaotic.
