2. CONCEPT
Figure 36 begins to look at the
building concept and begin to
link it with the aesthetic and
colour palette of Septembre’
Paris Apartments, It presents
the calming and bond building
experiences that will take place
in the space, in an exaggerated
playful setting as shown by the
block colours and sharp edges
of the shapes in the background.
A theme that is recurrent of
the space as well as through
the concept, the juxtaposition
between the playful and the
meaningful, the silliness and the
seriousness.
Figure 37 Depicts a collage in
which I have taken sketches
of the building and layered
the cut out shapes of from the
previous experiments shown in
figur 34. When looking at the
Paris Apartments by Septembre
and places, similar shapes over
existing shapes of the buildings
façade, the result was a similar
constructivism type of image,
with exaggerated edges and
shapes. I will continue to
develop these shapes to use the
constructivism theme in a way
that divides the spaces of the
facility.
