YASSANDRA “ YASSY ” was born and raised in Tampa . After starting college in pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering , Yassy discovered her passion and desire to work with and help others . Prior to joining Homestead Road , she spent 7 years in a successful career in sales and client services , including working with property investors serving as a real estate wholesaler where she leveraged her strong interpersonal skills and positive style . I have been with Homestead Road since May of 2021 . I am a Home Sales Advisor for the Tampa , Florida office .

I have been working in real estate since 2016 . I chose to work in real estate because I enjoy providing information and educating buyers and sellers . Prior to real estate I sold new cars for three years .

CAN YOU SHARE A MEMORABLE CUSTOMER STORY OR SITUATION THAT TOUCHED YOU OR REASSURED YOU OF YOUR PASSION FOR HELPING CUSTOMERS ?

I have many stories , but the one at the forefront of my memory is a gentleman whose girlfriend has passed away and he said he had really hit a low point in his life . He found himself with piles of mail and trash all over his living area , a leaky roof , and he no longer had running water . I was overjoyed that we were able to offer him enough on his home for him to be able to buy a maintenance free townhome . When I went back to his home to sign paperwork , he was looking all cleaned up , wearing a button-down shirt and even had his hair combed back ! He was now really excited about the next chapter of his life and being able to move on from the home that had been a place of sadness and struggle for him .

HOW DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL WHEN YOUR CUSTOMERS PROVIDE POSITIVE FEEDBACK AFTER WORKING WITH YOU ?

Positive feedback feels great because it provides reinforcement that I provide a good , helpful service to my clients .

Gardening , going to the gym or exercise outdoors , yoga , and cooking / baking for fun !

I have a twin sister !
