Eternal Sovereigns
"Eternal Sovereigns started the week with a blast as Gemma received three LTD’s in her first show! The momentum has stayed strong as Yousuf received 3 LTDs within 3 hours the other day. Other than this, we have also been dominating the other teams in our region as our team filled the stage for the majority of stats awards – we all got a chocolate. As a region we have had so much fun; went to a gay bar on Sunday night, had a movie night on Wednesday and a bbq on Thursday. We’re really living up the saying: word hard, play harder. Although all of this is making our time at champs go fast, our newest members can’t believe they've done a week already! At the same time it feels like we have known each other for years. This has been a truly unforgettable week (along with all the rest.)"
Alpha Pioneers
It’s been an eventful 6th week for the Alpha Pioneers with an array of happenings keeping things interesting. Tom took being assumptive to a whole new level whilst indulging in his love of video games when he told a sign up that he’s going to have to up it to £15 if he beats him at call of duty. Fatema and Eva met inspiring people in an Olympic Taekwondo and martial arts coach and Paralympic athlete. They were both able to get valuable insight as to how sport can be in shape somebody’s life and were absolutely motivated to smash it! Nando’s were quite surprised when a group of almost 20 people showed up just before 11pm – 15 minutes before closing time, thinking it was some kind of joke. It doesn’t stop there though; some of us had a longer wait for food when they actually ran out of chicken!! The Alpha Pioneers also made the most of the sunny weather and had a wonderful barbeque at the park with the other teams in the region. Spirits are high and we’re all looking forward to another great week!
