Tenacious Tigers
After 3 weeks of hard work, seeing everybody in my team and region getting ltds but me, I felt hopeless and weak until the 9th of July 2013. This date was when I had my first Ltd. It all happened when I went to Maidstone with Lauren’s team. We went to a nice, warm welcoming neighborhood and the weather was quite hot with lots of sunshine. I knocked on the last door thinkingOk…this is it; last door and then I go back to Lauren’s car-. Mr Dewar, a 77-year-old man opened the door and that is when I had my last show as well as Ltd in that day. We talked about his books collections because I’ve questioned why there are so many books in his house as it looks like a library. He was therefore an architect and he is now retired hence he had so many books about houses and designing. I felt so fulfilled and it is an amazing feeling when you get your first Ltd. Thank you Mr Dewar.
Mighty Stallions
This week we stallions decided to spend all of our lunch times (play time) in play areas to boost our PMA. This clearly worked as we’ve all improved our ins per show and Michael really boosted his number of Ltds. With the other Fortitude girlies, Claire and Ellie had a trip to the Gillingham outdoor pool before field on Wednesday. We probably should have used sun cream as Claire’s tummy was fried and Ellie looked like a tomato and children following her around streets asking her why she was so red. Still, at least we don’t look as ridiculous as Paragon’s Lauren. She is so burnt she has
resorted to covering herself in a desperate attempt to reduce the redness in preparation of a certain someone’s visit this weekend. Let’s just say that Ellie will be sleeping downstairs so she can’t hear Lauren’s squeaky bed….
We continue to meet a range of interesting people in field, sadly they mostly seem to be topless middle aged men and not enough fitties. We learnt a lot about cars this week, mostly that Ellie shouldn’t be left with the keys – she locked them in the boot on Tuesday. RAC to the rescue! Also, we’ve finally found out how to work our car radio; either put the hand break on or hit the dashboard. DON’T USE THE ON/OFF BUTTON. Duh.
