Alpha Dynasty
Alpha Pioneers
This week we have been pioneering onwards and upwards, hitting targets left, right and centre. With it being big week all of us were out knocking which of course led to more hilarious stories and happenings. A large proportion of Northampton residents didn’t quite grasp the ‘where’s somewhere flat line’ with Ed being brought a place mat to the door and Eva being shown that a wheelie bin is clearly a good alternative to a kitchen table. Joe’s sat-naving skills have been less than up to par with him directing us back to Northampton rather than Corby, quite a substantial difference in direction! Sarah trumped us all by smashing her way into Club 123 with 30 odd hours to go. Tom, upon introducing himself got his hand shaken and invited in by this man, who proceeded to inspire him through inspirational speeches, informing him to reach out and look in front of him. This weekend Eva was determined to hit 22 LTD’s before her 22nd on Monday, which she had already achieved by lunchtime Saturday, along with 3 Slovakian books! It’s not been all fun and games however, with Sarah getting very overexcited with reversing out of the drive (6mph was too fast it would appear!) and redesigning the cars exhaust to being on the floor rather than the underside of the car. Quite novel we feel. Never you fear though, this did not stop the pioneers with knocking round Northampton beginning ASAP. You’ll be pleased to hear the car was lovingly fixed by the local garage (who confirmed nothing was actually wrong) and the car is back trundling along the ‘roads that you can go fast on’. Conveniently for Tom, the car breaking down meant he was able to sign up a lovely Italian lady who was so blown away by his show and rapport, he gained himself an invite to their wedding!
