THE REWARDS ASSOCIATED WITH BEING A FEED OUR WORLD AMBASSADOR:
The Prophet( PBUH) has described feeding as among the best and most virtuous of deeds one can do:
“ Among the best deeds are to feed the poor and the deserving …” [ Bukhaari ]
“ The most virtuous of deeds is to feed( a brother), and to make him happy by meeting a need of his” [ Isfahani ]
The Prophet( PBUH) has said those that feed others in Ramadan earn forgiveness for their sins:
The Prophet( PBUH) has equated feeding of the poor with the attainment of Jannah:
“ If a person gives iftar to a fasting person in this month, his sins will be forgiven …” [ Bayhaqi ]
“ He who gives water as iftar to a fasting person in Ramadan becomes as sinless as the day his mother bore him” [ Isfahani ]
“ He who feeds a fasting person until he is full, Allah will make him drink out of my river, a sip of which will never allow him to be thirsty until he enters Jannah” [ Bayhaqi ]
