Training enhances skills and knowledge. The Corporation held an ISO certification training from 22nd to 26th January 2018 at Eka Hotel. The training was aimed at ensuring that staff are fully conversant with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 even as the Corporation upgrades to the new standards.

The training also sought to ensure that staff are able to document and implement ISO 9001:2015 requirements as well as integrate other standard requirements and corporate goals within the QMS framework

NOC Participates in the First Oil Committee
The First Oil Committee meeting was held on January 24th to 26th at the Great Rift Valley Lodge, Naivasha. The meeting brought together Government and the Kenya Joint Venture consisting of Tullow Oil, Maersk and Africa Oil.
National Oil Corporation was well represented by the Upstream Division, Legal Department and Corporate Planning department. A range of issues were discussed including phased development, pipeline sizing and development plan for the Lokichar discoveries.
The meeting which was graced by the Principal Secretary Ministry of Petroleum and Mining, Mr. Andrew Kamau, also sought to find alignment between Kenya Joint Venture and the Government on the Field Development Plan.
