The Grove
The Grove is a unique outdoor history and nature museum that welcomes close to 200,000 visitors and nearly 1,000 school groups year round . It ’ s become a family destination for many – walking along the trails , seeing the historic buildings and looking inside the Interpretive Center .

Walking The Grove ’ s trails is a year-round activity . You ’ ll enjoy the cool crisp air , you might see a deer , or even find some animal tracks . This is a relatively easy hike accessible to a wide range of walkers and a great way to learn about and appreciate the flora and fauna of Illinois . Space is limited .
