ADULT BALLET

Ballet is a wonderful way to stay in shape , be creative and enjoy the movement of dance . The instructor will modify movements for all abilities , focusing on the total movement for the dancer . All levels are welcome . Students will learn the basic positions , correct body alignment and an introduction to basic ballet terminology .

ADULT TAP – ADVANCED BEGINNER / INTERMEDIATE

This adult tap class is for tappers who already have a basic concept of shuffle , flap , ball change , Irish , Maxie Ford , paradiddle and other basic steps . Two to four 8 counts are added to an ongoing routine per week . A practice video is emailed of choreography . We emphasize the total development of the dancer , stressing timing , rhythm , coordination and performance .

ADULT JAZZ

Students both new and returning to dance will enjoy this accessible and engaging class . The class includes technique training , warm up exercises , across the floor combinations , and choreographic variations . Students will gain experience and technique in jazz , modern , contemporary , and ballet styles . Ample time is provided for questions and clarification . The main focus of class is the quality of movement , feeling rhythms and patterns , and emoting through choreography .

BOLLYWOOD DANCE FOR ADULTS

Explore the sights and sounds of Bollywood in this fun dance class for adults . Through movement exercises and choreography , students explore the concepts of rhythm , musicality and expression . All levels welcome . Reemlee Chowdhury instructs .
