We are excited for bowling day and other upcoming happenings
The Niners knew how to take the the word “ happy ” literally at their December Happy Hour . From the moment they walked into the Dining Room for the festivities , they were greeted with smiles , festive decorations and good cheer . This was evident throughout the event , which included
LOFFINK holiday games that tested the knowledge or lack thereof of the season . As JoAnna Sawyer told me while playing a game of matching a clipart style of picture to a Christmas carol , her group stumbled upon a picture of what they thought was a figure with a rock above them . They laughed raucously as they tried to come up with the correct names of songs , much less one about a rock . It ended up being a cloud , not a rock .

As we move forward in 2025 , winter will not keep the Niners down . At this writing the first winter event had not taken place . Game day no doubt succeeded in brightening up the winter doldrums with a light lunch and interactive games all could enjoy and maybe test their hand-eye coordination with ping-pong balls , cotton balls and plastic cups . How could it not have been a great afternoon when the first game was to be the Telephone Dance and the last The Centipede game .
Tuesday , Feb . 11 will be bowling day . You should have received an email about signing up ; if not watch for another one or check the Proshop for the book . All Niners are welcome , both social or regular , and the event is open to guests , if you are interested in joining our group . March is scheduled for an afternoon at Top Golf . More details are to come .
