On Thursday , December 7th , SAAA held its annual FREE Member Holiday Mixer at Evil Olive , and we can definitely say it was a PACKED house ! With just over 100 attendees and hundreds of toys donated by various members across our great city , all toys were delivered directly to the children of FVPS , The Battered Women and Children ' s Shelter of San Antonio . District 8 Council Member Manny Pelaez was in attendance as well as Shelter President & CEO Marta Pelaez , and they were both completely in awe by the amount of support SAAA Members offered . Special thanks to Trinity Towing for delivering all donated toys to those children that we know had a better Christmas .
