Operations Supervisor ( Swanton Sector Headquarters – U . S . Border Patrol ))
Special Operations Supervisor ( SOS ) Nathan Hill has 17 years of border enforcement expertise gained as a front-line Border Patrol agent and supervisor in Texas , New York , New Mexico , Arizona , Michigan , and Vermont . In his current position at the U . S . Border Patrol ’ s Swanton Sector Headquarters , he has regional oversight over strategic planning , data integrity , and a wide portfolio of current and emerging enforcement technologies ranging from tactical infrastructure and surveillance towers to unmanned aircraft systems and unattended ground sensors . He holds an A . S . in Audio Engineering and a B . S . in Business , Management , and Economics from the State University of New York .

The Mount Washington Cog Railway – The Railway To The Moon ( Randall Armor – Creative Director & Caleb Gross – Mechanical Engineer ( Mount Washington Cog Railway ))
Randall Armor is the Cog ’ s Creative Director , keeping a close watch on the Railway ’ s brand image . A veteran commercial photographer , designer , writer , and educator , he manages the company ’ s website and social media presence , designs all print and digital advertising , writes engaging copy , and produces still and video imagery for web and TV . Prior to “ retiring ” to northern New Hampshire , he directed career training programs at Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts and the New England School of Photography . His recent documentary project , Boston ’ s Hidden Sacred Spaces ( produced in association with Brandeis University ), was supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and profiled on National Public Radio . Caleb Gross is the Cog ’ s resident Mechanical Engineer , responsible for all technical aspects of the Railway ’ s fleet and infrastructure . A graduate of the University of Rhode Island ’ s International Engineering Program , Caleb manages all activities related to design , fabrication and repair of our diesel hydraulic and vintage steam locomotives , passenger coaches , maintenance-of-way equipment , and track system . Currently , Caleb is overseeing the expansion of the Engineering Department and staff , and the development of an internship program with the University of New Hampshire . He is also leading a capstone project with the University ’ s engineering students to convert an existing track speeder to electric drive , an important step toward the eventual electrification of our diesel locomotives .
