PARTNERSHIP , AAMD HAS RAISED OVER $ 600,000
FOR FAMILY HOMESTEAD IN 35 + YEARS
On December 8th , AAMD ’ s annual Charity Auction was held at Mile High Station in downtown Denver . Those that attended the silent auction were able to bid on a wide variety of items , all of which had been donated to benefit both Family Homestead and Apartments Giving Back .
Entertainment was provided by a group of talented performers , who helped carry out the event ’ s “ The Greatest Giving Show ” theme throughout the evening . Jugglers , stilt-walkers , and acrobats could be seen mingling through the crowd among AAMD members eager to enjoy the event and raise money to support the community .
AAMD is proud to announce that the event raised over $ 25,000 to donate to the Association ’ s charitable efforts . Family Homestead is a private non-profit agency whose mission is to provide emergency and transitional housing to Denver ’ s homeless families . The Apartments Giving Back program showcases AAMD members ’ philanthropic efforts and has donated over $ 186,000 to various charities since launching in January 2020 .
