Dear Member ,
I hope you are enjoying your golf membership this year . We have had some decent weather so far this winter and it should only get better from here on out . ( Well , I started this newsletter write-up before we had all the bad , cooler , rainy weather and I think I jinxed us ! LOL … Here ’ s to hoping for much better weather this month ) The golf courses have been extremely busy , and my team is working diligently to make sure starting times are going off as scheduled and that the pace of play stays within reason , somewhere between 4 hours and 4 hours 20 minutes .
We had several successful member tournaments in January highlighted by the WGA Member – Member on January 11-12 , the Welcome Back on January 20 , and the MGA Round Robin Member – Member on January 26-28 . Participation was incredible with 112 ladies in the WGA event , 180 total members for the Welcome Back , and 144 men in the MGA Member – Member ! The SFSC Million Dollar Shootout was also a huge success with our local college meeting their fundraising goals once again . As we enter into February , please mark your calendars for the upcoming golf events :

As we navigate the next two months , please make sure to keep your member group leaders , or the golf shop for your individual tee times , up to date on when you ’ re going to play or not play . This will assist us in making sure we don ’ t have unused reservations on the tee sheets . It ’ s a very busy time of the year and I want to ensure the golf operation runs smoothly and efficiently . Also , continue to do your part adhering to our cart driving rules keeping your cart of the path around tees and greens and driving in the rough as much as possible .
Sincerely ,
Andy Kesling
