Own Your Health is a collaboration of organizations who are committed to offering evidence-based health and wellness programs in the state of Rhode Island . Founded in 2016 , the collaborative ’ s mission is to empower Rhode Islanders to take charge of their health through evidence-based programs in their communities . The Own Your Health Collaborative works with Rhode Island organizations including employers , health insurers , and community centers to offer group-based classes aimed at improving an individual ’ s overall wellbeing . A variety of programs are offered to address chronic conditions in virtual and self-paced settings .
