The last race of the day was another 2-hour race with the Pro , A & B riders staggered on the starting line . The largest class of the day with 16 riders was the premiere Pro Class . The pros battled aggressively in the first lap , but by lap two , TJ ’ s Cycle ’ s Riley Johnson took the lead . He kept the lead and took the win , finishing 30 seconds ahead of Nathan Goertz . Jeremy Hamilton rounded out the podium in the pro class for the day . Fans were treated to a lot of impressive racing , especially by Jorge Perez Jr . and Dan Sell . They held the lead in their large class the entire two hours . Also extremely impressive was Hudson Bartsch in the 13-29B class . The good sportsman he is , stopped to help his battle rider after his crash and still came up with a win .
All in all , the TORCS Wild Hare weekend was nothing less than pure fun . It was a one-off race with no series points to chase . The thrill of trying to accomplish a 2-hour race on a more technical track did not disappoint . The TORCS crew put up one heck of an event and provided excitement for all the spectators and TORCS riders who can ’ t wait for the 2021 season to begin !
